We opened our physical studio in June of 2016. IT was a tiny space that fit 8 students (intimately!). After 6 months we moved to the other side of the building at 16 Iris Lane so that we could fit more than double that many students. That is where our studio grew to create a thriving community of all walks of life. We wove this community together in a natural way.  In alignment with the nature of impermanence and change, when creating Stepping Stone Yoga, we knew this would be an evolving journey...

Background

We opened our physical studio in June of 2016 in Jeffersonville, Vermont situated in the beautiful foothills of Mt. Mansfield. It was a tiny space that fit eight students (intimately!). Yet, after six months we quickly learned that the next step would be to increase the size of our space and so moved to the other side of the building at 16 Iris Lane. That is where our studio grew to create a thriving community of all walks of life.

We wove this community together in a natural way and have provided a constant flow of excellent teachers throughout the four years we have grown.  In alignment with the nature of impermanence (inevitable change), when creating Stepping Stone Yoga, we knew this would be an evolving journey...Therefore, in today's post-COVID world, we have placed a pause on in-studio gatherings to meet on our lovely Octagonal Yoga Deck overlooking Mt. Mansfield and serenaded by the homestead's sheep and chooks.

While we offer more online classes in the post-COVID era, we still believe that the quality of in-person exchange of energy is essential in the process of learning Yoga and developing self-inquisition. Community is a very important piece to the puzzle of self-discovery so we continue to hold offerings on our outdoor deck (weather permitting) and private sessions in the studio.
