Stepping Stone Yoga is here to be part of your Yoga journey as there are many wonderful schools of thought and approaches to be explored in this world. By offering unique styles of Yoga such as Hoop Yoga, Healing Core, and Lunar Yoga, as well as some of the more common styles of Restorative, Yin, Prenatal and All-Levels Asana Vinyasa, we hope that you join us when you are ready with an open heart along your Way.
As with many Yoga studios during the pandemic of 2020, our studio too was deeply impacted. Alas, we closed our studio-with-walls that was home to a growing community for four years. However, during the nicer weather months, we now operate in-person on our beautiful outdoor studio-without-walls and virtually with our online Zoom platform.
As Yoga merged into the West, a true cultural "yolking" took place. We believe that it is our duty here at Stepping Stone Yoga to encourage all students to take a multifaceted approach during practice; not focus only on the physical body only, but to remember that Yoga can have a profound effect on social, emotional, psychological, and the spiritual bodies of this complex human form. Yoga is an ancient art and science that heals, renews, and connects us to our understanding of the nature of self. Yoga comes from India, so it is essential that we view and adapt this practice through the lens of where it has arrived: western culture. This is why we embrace the practice from its roots but also enjoy the practice through its branches.

When practicing with Stepping Stone, you are highly encouraged to take a beginner mindset even if you have been practicing for many years, as well as, to listen closely to what your needs are in every given moment and learn to respond in a compassionate and productive way.
